Comic Book Day Book Talk - New Westminster

Douglas College Library

Join us in N2100B (NW Library), for pizza, pop, comic books, anime, manga, graphic novels - and a chance to meet other comic book lovers!

Douglas College, New Westminster Campus

Join us for pizza and pop in the NW Library (Room N2100B) on Wednesday, September 23 at 2pm as we gather to celebrate National Comic Book Day! Whether it's manga, fantasy, or non-fiction, we have a large selection to offer. You can sign to do a short talk about your favourite book, or come to hear about what others have been reading and loving, and join the discussion. Don't have your own copy of the book you want to do a talk on? Search the Library Collection to see if we've got it. Or maybe you're looking for book talk inspiration? Check out some of the graphic novels and manga we have in our collection. Lively conversation is guaranteed with this fun subject matter - and you could also win a gift card to a local comic book store!
