How do I join the workshop?

You will receive an email reminder before the workshop starts from Eventbrite. Please click the orange “join now” button.

Once I am in the waiting room, what happens next?

When you click the orange “join now” button, you will enter the Zoom waiting room. The host will let you into the workshop (meeting) approximately 5 minutes before the start time.

How do I change my screen name if my full name is not already displayed?

To change your screen name, you can either hover over your picture and select “rename”, or find yourself in the list of participants, select the three dots (...) and select “rename”.

How do I receive a PL certificate for the workshop?

Accepted Answer

To receive a PL Certificate, have your name displayed in full, be online for a minimum of 90% of the duration of the workshop, and complete the exit survey at the end of the workshop. PL certificates will only be issued if exit surveys have been completed.

How will my name appear on the PL Certificate?

Your name will appear on the PL Certificate exactly as you enter it into the PL Exit Survey.

Where will AECENL send my PL Certificate?

Accepted Answer

Your PL Certificate will be emailed to the exact address entered into the PL Exit Survey. Please ensure you have entered your email correctly, otherwise it will bounce back.

Can I ask questions during the workshop?

Yes! Please feel free to use the chat at any time or use the “raise hand” option if you would like to unmute and ask a question.

Will the workshop be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This workshop will be recorded. It will take place in a Zoom webinar room, meaning participants will have their cameras turned off and will be muted for the duration of the workshop. Participants will not appear in the recording.

When will I receive my PL Certificate?

AECENL tries to email PL Certificates after one week. If you have not received a PL Certificate by email after one week, please check your junk and spam folders before contacting the office.

Question 10

How can I access the recording?

The recording will become part of AECENL's PL Lending Library, available for Administrators to use as part of future PL close-out days with their staff.

Question 11

How do child care services watching as a group receive PL certificates for individuals?

Accepted Answer

Have all participants register individually (only one person has to log-on). Provide admin@aecenl.ca with a copy of an attendance sheet and a group photo before 4:30pm on the day of the conference. Have each participant complete the exit survey at the end of the conference.

Is this workshop eligible for AECENL's PL Grant Fund?
