Skateboard Stories in Motion

Discover the art of stop-motion animation in this registered program, inspired by the Richmond Museum exhibition, The Maple Road Experience. Explore the story of how Kevin Harris's passion for skateboarding helped shape Richmond's skateboarding community, then create your own short stop-motion animation inspired by themes of movement, creativity, and local history. No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.

This program is offered in partnership between the Richmond Museum and the Richmond Media Lab.

Registered participants can meet at the entrance to the Richmond Museum at the start of their program.
