WIFT+ Toronto’s annual reception during the Toronto International Film Festival returns to celebrate the spirit and creativity of our screen-based community and raise funds to support initiatives of the Foundation for Women in Film & Television - Toronto.

On Tuesday September 15, 2026, we are excited to welcome our members, sponsors, partners, visiting filmmakers, and special guests to a catered networking reception that honours the contributions of Canadian women+ to the worldwide entertainment industry.

TICKETS & REGISTRATION

Attendance at the 2026 WIFT+ Toronto Reception@TIFF is an exclusive benefit of WIFT+ Toronto membership. All active members of WIFT+ Toronto (as of August 7, 2026) have received an email with two unique access codes to unlock their complimentary Member ticket and their discounted Guest tickets. Please email membership@wift.com if you haven’t received your access codes, or if you have questions about your membership status.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Member Ticket Presale (Wed Aug 12 @ 12:00 PM) Members can claim one (1) complimentary Member ticket and purchase up to three (3) discounted Guest tickets for $55 (plus HST).

• General Ticket Sales (Wed Aug 19 @ 12:00 PM) Non-members and the general public can purchase General tickets for $65 (plus HST). Members can still claim their complimentary Member ticket and purchase their discounted Guest tickets.

*NOTE* Member and/or discounted Guest tickets will be hidden until you enter your unique access codes. Because you can only view one ticket-type at a time, you will need to claim your Member ticket and your Guest ticket in two separate orders.

• Door Ticket Sales (Tue Sep 15 until 8:30 PM) Tickets will be available for purchase at the door via credit card (including Visa Debit), PayPal, and Apple Pay only. Non-members and the general public can purchase General tickets for $70 (plus HST). Discounted Guest tickets will no longer be available for purchase at the door.

WIFT+ STARS FUNDRAISER

Support the Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto and honour the stars in your life by purchasing a WIFT+ Star in their name! All names being celebrated will be projected on-screen throughout the evening at the WIFT+ Toronto Reception@TIFF.

Prices:

• $10 donation = 1 WIFT+ Star
• $25 donation = 3 WIFT+ Stars
• $50 donation = 10 WIFT+ Stars

Donor Benefits:

• Donations of $25 or more are eligible to receive a tax receipt.

Honouree Benefits:

• WIFT+ Star honouree names will be featured both at our Reception@TIFF and across various online platforms.
• Honourees may receive a digital certificate highlighting their WIFT+ Star status (only available by donor request).

ANNUAL ONLINE AUCTION

The WIFT+ Toronto Annual Online Auction will run September 11-18, 2026. Bid on an array of exciting packages: cultural passes and tickets, set visits, gift certificates to top restaurants, theatre tickets, fashion accessories, unique experiences, and much, much more! All proceeds go to the Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto.
