The Family Friendly activities geared to an afternoon Children's Oktoberfest is from 3:00 - 6:00 pm with live music by Die Powerhaus Band.

What is the admission charge for Children for the Family Friendly afternoon Oktoberfest?

Accepted Answer

Children (kids) under 18 years of age accompanied by a parent/guardian are FREE. Adults pay admission.

What entertainment is provided at the evening Oktoberfest?

Live music and dancing to The Nu-Tones Band & Walter Ostanek the famous award winning POLKA KING, the Opening Tapping of the Keg with "Frei Bier" - Free Beer,  the traditional  "Bierstemmen" Jug Holding Competition, Miss Oktoberfest contest, Shooting Gallery, and outdoor Biergarten.

What type of food is available?

Traditional German Food including Pork and Chicken Schnitzel, Oktoberfest Sausage, Smoked Pork Hocks, served with Sauerkraut, Fried Onions, Homemade Potato Salad made by the German Ladies Members, Pretzels.

What type of drinks are available?

Accepted Answer

A variety of Beer and Wine, including Premium Brands draft beer, domestic and import, wine by the glass or bottle, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages are all available.

What food is available for children's meals?

Accepted Answer

Children's meal available for purchase for $8 includes Denninger's wiener on bun, french fries, and juice.

Do I have to wear Lederhosen or a Dirndl?

Accepted Answer

If you have traditional Bavarian attire, you are most welcome to wear it and will fit right in. If not, we have a Souvenir Stand which will have some dirndls, Bavarian hats, Oktoberfest in the Hammer Tshirts, jewellery and more for purchase.

If I attend with my children in the afternoon, can I return in the evening with the same ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can return. You will receive an entrance wrist bracelet that will provide you access to return without your children in the evening.

Is there parking on site at the Germania Club?

Accepted Answer

Yes there is some parking behind the building as well as on side streets surrounding the Germania Club. If carpooling is an option, we recommend it as we convert some of our parking lot to the outdoor Biergarten for the event.

Is this event likely to sell out?

Accepted Answer

Yes it is. Last year, we had record sales and attendance and people loved the atmosphere. We heard from many attendees at our recent FIFA World Cup Soccer Watch Parties that they are keen to attend this year's Oktoberfest.

Is this event for Germania Club Members only?

Accepted Answer

This event is open to all Germania Club Members as well as nonmembers in the community.

Is there an opportunity to Sponsor this event with my business?
