Undead Theatre Presents - Dracula: The Vampire's Lament

Dracula: The Vampires Lament is an object theatre-based adaptation of the book by Bram Stoker. It takes place in Dracula’s Castle, centuries after the events of the story. But this Dracula has gone a tad… mad. He’s a hoarder, insecure, only drinks rats, and continually cycles through the events of the book. As he replays the events of his past countless times over, Dracula begins to realize that he is the villain of his story. We are excited to showcase Undead Theatre's first work in development through this staged reading. 

The script for Dracula: The Vampires Lament was developed over Summer 2026 with support from Calgary Animated Objects Society (CAOS). Undead Theatre consists of Ahona Sanyal, Andrew Burniston, Autumn Adrian, and Day Chase.
