From 1951 to 1956, Miles would record a string of groundbreaking albums for Prestige Records, including Cookin’, Relaxin’, Workin’, and Steamin’ -- music that blended bebop virtuosity with a cool, lyrical sensibility that reshaped modern jazz. Brownman and a selection of top-shelf jazz artists will explore these recordings channeling the intensity and innovation of Miles’ early genius.:: Brownman Ali - trumpet (JUNO nominee) :: Nick Maclean - keyboard (JUNO nominee) :: Duncan Hopkins - upright bass (JUNO nominee) :: Frank Botos - drums (JUNO nominee)<a href="https://www.AkousticTrio.Brownman.com" title="https://www.AkousticTrio.Brownman.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.AkousticTrio.Brownman.com</a> ---- <h3>MY HOUSE TIFF JAZZ SERIES 2026</h3>"A jazz concert series where TIFF goes can keep the party going after their screenings!"My House, 2882 Dundas St. West, Toronto, 416-604-4555www.MyHouseInTheJunction.com | www.facebook.com/myhouseinthejunctionSept 16 to 20 -- 5 days of the nation's best jazz musicians in the Junction's own MY HOUSE during TIFF (Toronto International Jazz Fest), feat.
