How many Playground Testers positions are there?

Accepted Answer

We have 100 positions for Playground Testers! All testers must be individually registered and must be between the ages of 2 yrs and 13 yrs of age. All testers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How are the kids recognized as a Playground Tester?

Accepted Answer

Each registered Playground Tester will have an official Playground Tester Badge upon registration and will be given a form to review The Lookout Playground @ Sky Ranch.

Question 3

After the kids are done evaluating The Lookout Playground @ Sky Ranch, what happens?

Accepted Answer

They share their feedback with Jesse LaFrance, they get a new badge that identifies them as a Playground Expert. They also select a special Teddy Bear, get a picnic to share with other friends. They also get bubble blowers, cotton candy, treats & other prizes! Bragging rights!

Question 4

Are there really only 100 spots? Can't you increase the number?

Accepted Answer

There are only 100 spots! However, there is always someone who can't make it. When you arrive and register, let the team know that you want to be on the wait list and check back often in case someone did not show up!

Question 5

What do do the kids evaluate the Playground on?

Accepted Answer

There are three (3) criteria that are important:    a) the amount of FUN.       b) did it challenge our imagination or creativity     c) would we come back to play

Question 6

Do we have to show our tickets when we arrive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can either print a copy or bring your phone which has the image of the QR code that is directly linked to your registration. At registration, a team member will scan the ticket.

Question 7

Do we have to sign a waiver to participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we will have staff on site, the staff are not supervising the playground. Parents are responsible for the safety and supervision. of their children.

Question 8

My child is 8 yrs old & I will drop them off & pick up @ 3 pm.

Accepted Answer

We cannot accept responsibility for your child. As part of the Playground Tester Rules, a parent or guardian is expected to be with their child while at the event. The playground is unsupervised & parents are responsible for the safety & supervision of their children.
