MAHCP 2026 Biennial General Meeting

Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals' President Jason Linklater, Executive Director Keely Richmond, and members of your Executive Council will host our inaugural Biennial General Meeting of the Association. We'll report on union financials and operations, share an update on the past year’s successes and allied health advocacy, enjoy light refreshments, and award prizes.

All MAHCP members are invited to attend; only Members in Good Standing are eligible to participate in the proceedings (speak to and/or vote on resolutions) and win door prizes.

The 2026 BGM is hybrid. Join us:

• In person*: Bonnie & John Buhler Hall, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, 85 Israel Asper Way @ The Forks
• Online: Via simultaneous Zoom event

Event Details

• Registration: Opens at 5 p.m. to provide access to the CMHR Galleries (Zoom virtual waiting room opens at 6:30 p.m.)
• Call to order: 7 p.m.
• Agenda, Annual Report, and Audited Financials to follow.

Additional Information

• In-person attendees are invited to join us early for complimentary access to the CMHR Galleries (as of 5 p.m.).
• Parking at CMHR is FREE for in-person attendees. You will receive a code to key in at The Forks' parking stations (parkade and surface lots) to defray fees.
• Whether you join the BGM online or in person, if you're a Member in Good Standing, we'll enter you into a draw for door prizes, which will be held after the meeting is adjourned. Winners must be present for the entirety of the meeting to win.
• We'll serve light refreshments (appetizers and food stations) after the meeting is adjourned.
• Alcohol available to purchase after the meeting is adjourned.
