2026 Heritage Toronto Awards
Celebrating how heritage colours our city!
Join us for the premier event for Toronto’s heritage sector.
At the opening reception, you’ll mingle with nominees, City Councillors, emerging professionals, and leaders across community, cultural, and policy-making communities.
The sit-down Awards Ceremony features the live announcement of winners for the following juried awards:
- Book
- Built Heritage-Adaptive Reuse
- Built Heritage-Heritage Planning & Architecture
- Built Heritage-Crafts and Trades
- Public History-Small Project
- Public History-Large Project
Two additional awards will also be presented: Volunteer Service, named by Heritage Toronto’s Board of Directors, and People’s Choice—chosen by supporters and guests.
To settle the nerves and toast the achievements, drinks and desserts are offered after the ceremony to wrap up the event.
Important to know:
- FOOD: The event will include complimentary bar service and hors d'oeuvres . Please Note: There is no formal dinner service for the evening.
- SEATING POLICY: Guests will be seated at round tables of ten. Up to six tickets purchased together in one order will be seated together.
If you are planning on attending with a group of people and would like to be seated at the same table, please purchase your tickets in a single order. Due to the nature of the event, we are unable to accommodate requests to seat multiple orders together.
Large groups are strongly encouraged to purchase a full table.
Ticket sales close on Wednesday, October 14. If you have any additional questions about tickets, please reach out to Mitchie Ding, Public Programs Assistant, at mitchie.ding@toronto.ca.
