As Alberta’s trusted leader in supporting unpaid family and friend caregivers, Caregivers Alberta provides education for and about caregivers, strengthens caregiver well-being, and amplifies the voices and values of caregivers.

This presentation will be led by Caregivers Alberta’s Chief Executive Officer, Darrel Gregory.

For the past four years, Darrel has helped guide Caregivers Alberta through a period of growth, innovation, and meaningful change, championing a future where caregivers are recognized, valued, and better equipped to navigate their caregiving journeys. With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the non-profit sector, Darrel brings a dynamic blend of vision, creativity, and relationship-building to his work. He is passionate about turning ideas into action, bringing people together around a shared purpose, and creating the conditions for teams and communities to thrive. Above all, Darrel is deeply committed to the people he serves, the team he leads, and the relationships that make meaningful change possible.
