Algonquin Highlands | All Candidates Meeting

This free community event is an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to represent your municipality, learn where they stand on important local issues, and become better informed before casting your ballot.

The meeting will include:

• Brief opening remarks from candidates
• Rapid-fire questions on key local issues
• Substantive questions developed from community input
• Separate segments for mayor/deputy mayor candidates and councillor candidates, as applicable
• A limited number of questions asked directly by members of the audience

How questions will be selected

HHHDP is gathering questions from residents and community partners. Questions will be grouped into themes, and moderators will select questions that are relevant, fair and possible to address within the time available.

The meeting will be moderated, non-partisan and free to attend.

Advance registration is required due to venue capacity.

The event will be recorded and made available following the meeting for residents who are unable to attend in person.
