Immigrants With Attitude

You moved countries. You learned the weather, the accent, the job market, the rent… but nobody warned you about the actual immigrant experience. The culture shocks. The awkward conversations. The family pressure. The relationships. The things that felt completely normal back home until you said them in Canada. Now imagine all of that turned into stand-up. Immigrants With Attitude brings together comedians who know exactly what it feels like to build a life somewhere new — and have enough stories to make you laugh about it. Presented by Sunny Deewana & Vishal Ramesh, featuring Azfar Ali, Sunny Deewana and more, this is one night of immigrant life, identity, culture, relationships and everything we usually complain about in the group chat. If you’ve ever thought, “Only an immigrant would understand this,” this show is probably for you. Friday, October 16
