Learn about funding opportunities through Victoria After Five, a new program supporting free and low-cost community-led evening activities.
Victoria After Five funds free and low-cost community-led activities that bring people together and help make Victoria's downtown and neighbourhoods more active and connected. Organizations, businesses and community groups are invited to apply with ideas that encourage people to stay longer, explore locally and enjoy the city in the evenings.
During this session, City staff will:
- Provide an overview of the Victoria After Five program
- Review eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria
- Share examples of eligible activities
- Walk through the application process
- Answer questions from prospective applicants
Examples of eligible activities may include live music performances, night markets, community workshops, cultural celebrations, pop-up retail and art experiences, food-focused events, community gatherings, performance series and festivals.
