Migratory Bird Day Celebration
Overview
Bird lovers connect! Look for birds and get hands on as you learn about bird monitoring, nest boxes, habitats and food sources.
Celebrate Migratory Bird Day with guided walks, hands-on stewardship and family-friendly learning activities.
In partnership with Bird Friendly Halton Hills, participants of all ages can learn about common types of migratory birds, learn to contribute to citizen science using eBird and Merlin and take part in creating bird homes (e.g. living and boxes).
Join us to connect with nature, support bird habitats and foster a deeper appreciation for the perilous journeys that enrich ecosystems.
