Headliner Cathy Boyd

Cathy Boyd is a Toronto based brutally honest stand-up comedian. Known for her dry demeanor and punchline-heavy hitting, her act impresses audiences everywhere. She appeared on season one of Canada’s Got Talent where judge Howie Mandel remarked, “You’re very funny. You’ve found your calling.” Cathy performed in her very first solo show, Nearly Departed, at the Toronto Fringe Festival, August, 2025. with some great reviews.

In 2020 Cathy released her debut album Wise Tracks, which can be heard on SiriusXM She’s So Funny as well as most streaming platforms. She has recorded for CBC Laugh Out Loud Radio; performed on CBC’s Accent on Toronto at the Danforth Music Hall and on New Year’s Eve 2025, performed at Massey Hall with Yuk Yuks and Colin Mochrie. Her sophomore album, Nearly Departed was released in June 2025, She’s had the privilege of opening for Caroline Rhea and Jon Dore.

Other notable credits include the Jersey City Comedy Festival, where she was selected as both an audience and Industry pick. SLO Comedy Festival, California; Big Sky Comedy Festival, Billings, Montana; Laugh After Dark Comedy Festival, Las Vegas; Seattle International Comedy Competition; Women in Comedy Festival, Boston; New York’s She Devil Comedy Festival finalist; The Boston Comedy Festival; Maine Comedy Festival; Rogue Island Comedy Festival and most recently a finalist in the Ladies of Laughter Comedy Competition in New York. She has performed for JFL42 and was crowned Comedian of the North in 2019. Cathy regularly performs at Yuk Yuks Comedy Clubs and Yuk Yuks On Tour.
