Operations 201: Start Smart with AI in partnership with Onstack AI Labs

You didn't wait for permission to start using AI. Now it's time to find out if it's actually working for you. This isn't an intro to AI - it's an audit of what you're already running.

Bring the tools you use today and pressure-test them against a simple framework: what stays, what gets refined, what gets cut, and where the real risk sits.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll leave with a map of your systems, a framework for your next tool decision, and guardrails you actually trust.

This lab is for...

Founders already using AI tools who want structure behind that use, and early-stage teams feeling the sprawl after adopting AI one tool at a time. You should be able to name how you use AI today and what problem it solves — if you have not started yet, take a 101 session first. Bring the stack you are running today.

🤝 Platform Calgary partnered with OnStack AI Labs, because they wanted founders learning from founders who learned this the hard way, and did something about it.

OnStack's co-founders, Ev Oputa and Moose Abdelhag, work with organizations every day on the exact call this session is built around: what's ready for AI, what isn't, and where the risk actually sits.

Ev Oputa - Co-Founder, OnStack AI Labs · Founder, Begine Fusion

Ev co-founded OnStack AI Labs, a Calgary applied-AI lab, after 13+ years across IT, financial services, fintech, marketing and nonprofits. He works with organizations on AI readiness and on getting systems into production - not just into slide decks.

Moose Abdelhag - Co-Founder & AI Systems Architect, OnStack AI Labs · Founder & CEO, SIYS

Moose co-founded OnStack AI Labs, where he architects responsible AI systems for organizations. He also founded Struggle Is Your Success, a Calgary nonprofit that has supported 650+ young people, and holds Harvard Business School credentials in design thinking and disruptive strategy.
