Badlands Amphitheatre

Travel Drumheller is excited to sponsor hikes with the team at the Badlands Amphitheatre to celebrate I Love Drumheller Valley Days. There are two hikes available to choose from with additional descriptions below. On Monday, October 12 at 10AM you are invited to work off your Thanksgiving feast with a hike through the corral creek that showcases the unique geology of the Drumheller Valley. This hike is a moderate 75-minute excursion over rough terrain, indistinct trail, large strides and light scrambling required to overcome obstacles. The difficulty rating is moderate. On Thursday, October 15 at 6PM you are welcome to join in a sunset hike to the top of Lookout Hill. This is also a 75-minute excursion that will bring you to the top of the Drumheller Valley giving you a breathtaking view of the town of Drumheller and the surrounding prairies. This is an easy well broken trail but it does include a steep elevation gain so be prepared to exert yourself. You can read all about the hikes, and the many other events and activites, on the Badlands Amphitheatre website.Space is limited to the first 20 people (per hike) to sign up and reserve their tickets.
