Knowledge Lab: 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusive Health Benefits
Knowledge Labs are hands-on and participant-driven, combining expert insight with collaborative learning.
* This event is an included benefit for participants of Pride at Work Canada’s Ambassador Program. Additional participants can register for a fee.
Health benefits have a tangible impact on employees’ lives, and the benefits an organization provides can powerfully reflect its values. Inclusive health benefits send a clear message to 2SLGBTQIA+ employees: you belong here, and your health and well-being matter.
In this Knowledge Lab, a panel of experts will explore what 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion looks like in employee health benefits, the barriers queer and trans employees may face in accessing appropriate care, and key considerations for designing more equitable, inclusive benefits programs. Participants will examine practical approaches to identifying gaps, strengthening coverage, and creating meaningful impact for 2SLGBTQIA+ employees.
Knowledge Labs are hands-on and participant-driven, combining expert insight with collaborative learning. Participants will explore emerging practices, test ideas with peers, and work together to identify practical solutions they can bring back to their organizations.
Fasken is the presenting sponsor of Pride at Work Canada’s Ambassador Program and Knowledge Labs.
