Join us as Dr. Niren Shetty, head of the Palliative Care Team at North York General, as he broadens our understanding of this field.
Our partnership with North York General Hospital continues.
Today we welcome Dr. Niren Shetty, who earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto.. He is a part of the Family and Community Health Team and his specialty is Palliative Care. Dr. Shetty provides ongoing primary care aimed at supporting patients through all stages of life. He works collaboratively with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans that address both immediate health concerns and long-term health goals. In addition to close patient care, Dr. Shetty is also recognized for his contributions to research and teaching.
Dr. Shetty will broaden our understanding of Palliative Care and how it can make a difference to the quality of life to patient's with life-limiting and life-threatening illness. Palliative care can be of benefit to patients as well as their family and friends.
