Join comedian and longtime yoga teacher Cindy for an afternoon of jokes, unhinged yoga cues, and an unpretentious wellness experience.
Nothing engages your deep core like laughing.
This is a one-of-a-kind afternoon combining live comedy with an all-levels yoga class. Expect real movement, real laughs, and yoga instructions that may get progressively more ridiculous.
Join Cindy Gu - yoga teacher, comedian, and a firm believer that wellness should feel less like another performance and more like actually having fun.
First, get settled with a special guest comic opening the show. Then more live sit-down comedy with Cindy before she teaches an actual yoga class- expect unconventional cues and the possibility of lighthearted inner peace.
Best-case scenario? An aching core from laughing, and profound wisdom disguised as jokes; worst-case scenario: a back that feels a little less cranky, and a great story to tell your friends on Monday. 😌
You don't need to be flexible, spiritual, or particularly good at relaxing. If your main self-care these days involves lying down and avoiding responsibilities, you're already practicing the non-attachment limb of Yoga.
What to expect
🎤 Stand-up comedy to kick things off
Settle in for some live comedy with Cindy (and a surprise guest opener) before we get moving. Yes, you're allowed to laugh at your yoga teacher.
🧘 An actual yoga class
Move, stretch, breathe, and attempt to find your centre while your instructor gives unconventional cues. All levels are welcome, and modifications are encouraged.
☀️ Daytime vibes
No late-night bar. No intimidating yoga studio energy. No pressure to touch your toes. Just a room full of people moving, laughing, and doing something a little different with their afternoon.
🍵 Community tea after the show
Stick around to chat, meet fellow comedy-yogis, and make a new friend.
Anti-social? You are still welcome!
