Join us at this month as we will be doing live readings from "Palestinians Are Your Eyes"
On October 15, 2026, theatres, universities, public squares, and bookstores around the world will unite in an act of global cultural resistance. MT Space is joining this global action, and we invite people into this as well. Join us at this month’s TELL! where we will be doing live readings from "Palestinians Are Your Eyes", a work of distributed theatre written by the young authors of the Anqa Theatre Company. We will also have video of the original authors reading their works as well.
The choice of October 15 is not accidental: on this very day in 2023, young Anqa Company performer Abraham Saidam lost his life under the bombs in Gaza. With his death, the dream of a young man who wished to dedicate his life to art was shattered. Today, his fellow artists transform that pain into renewed hope: by entrusting their experiences to writing, they honour Abraham's memory and continue the mission he could not fulfill.
“Palestinians Are Your Eyes” is by Ibrahim Alhelou, Dalal Elswerky, Fatma Yousef, Ala’a Sbaih, a project by Anqa.
