Have you experienced challenging emotions since becoming a parent? Do you want to feel more secure in your body during moments of exhaustion and stress? Do you want to understand what is happening in your body and brain during both challenging and joyful moments as a new parent?
Rosie, a Registered Clinical Counsellor is experienced in somatic attachment, supporting others in finding areas of strength in their body when stress arises in their relationships and life.
Jayne, a Registered Social Worker, is experienced in inter-generational trauma patterns and how we can recognize when they show up and how we want to change them. Together, they have created a group to support new parents as they navigate the experience of fresh parenthood.
This group will be run as a therapeutic circle, where participants will learn, listen, and share together. There will be opportunities for reflection, experiential learning, and somatic processing.
