On November 1, 1966, Haryana became its own state. This year marks 60 years, and Haryana Sewa Sangh is bringing our community in Halifax together to celebrate!
Whether you came to Canada as a student, a professional, or with your whole family, you carry a piece of home with you. Come celebrate it with us.
What to expect:
- Cake cutting ceremony
- Hot chai and samosas
- Meeting new friends and families from our community
- A small, warm gathering to celebrate together
Free and everyone is welcome. Please register so we can plan food and space for all.
Want to help? We are looking for volunteers for setup and welcoming guests, and local businesses are welcome to join as sponsors. Message Haryana Sewa Sangh on Facebook or Instagram to get involved.
A big thank you to our valued sponsors: Raman Rai and Gourav Rai, Mortgages with Garry, Target Properties, Right On Construction, I Got Visa Halifax, Education Station, and Big Bull Construction.
