SCYC is a community of like-minded people interested in yoga, meditation, consciousness, connecting with nature, and giving back through fundraising and volunteering. All of our events are made possible by our community of voluteers, and all of our events are by donation, with the funds raised going directly to Calgary and area charities.

Space is limited so please register early to let us know you are coming.  We strongly encourage all who come to join for the whole weekend to gain the greatest benefit from the beautiful and grounding offerings prepared by all of our volunteer teachers. 
All SCYC events run on a strictly voluntary donation basis. Therefore, we do not charge a registration fee for the weekend yoga offerings or for accommodation.  Anything you are able to contribute to the energy and success of the weekend through the gift of time as a volunteer or financially to support our work in the community is greatly appreciated. 
Because we are an entirely non-profit, volunteer-run organization we also ask for a small contribution to support the cost of food for the weekend ($20 per adult or $10 per child, ages 3-12).  All meals will be prepared by our cooking team.

1. What accommodations are available for this event?

<LI>This is a camping based event. For those staying overnight, there are plenty of scenic areas to set up a tent and there will also be space to park campers. </LI>
<LI>If you would prefer not to camp, we also have a list of bed and breakfasts in the area you can stay at.  Please email info@sheepcreekyoga.com to request a copy of this list. </LI>

2. What type of food will be provided at the Gathering?
<UL>
<LI>In keeping with yogic tradition, all food will follow a vegetarian diet.  The majority of our food is also gluten-free and we strive to keep a nut-free environment.</LI>
<LI>We will provide supper on Friday and Saturday night and breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Snacks will also be available throughout the weekend.</LI>
<LI>Please note that this is an alcohol and drug-free event.</LI>

3. When should I arrive?
<UL>
<LI>We encourage everyone to arrive on Friday in time for the first offering at 2:00 pm.  If you are arriving on Friday, you are welcome to come any time after 12:00 pm to set up your tent/camper, settle in, and explore the land.  </LI>
<LI>To ensure you are on time, we recommend allowing yourself 1.5 hours to drive to Wolf Willow from Calgary (directions will be sent out to registrants in the week prior to the event).</LI>

5. Can I bring my children?
<UL>
<LI>Children are more than welcome at our Gathering and we will be providing a variety of activities for children aged 3-12 on Saturday and Sunday.</LI>

6. Can I bring my pet?
<UL>
<LI>We truly wish we were able to accommodate animals as well as yogis at the event. Unfortunately, with the number of people attending and the safety risks of being in an area with a large diversity of wildlife, we are not able to have our furry friends join us too.  We want to provide for the comfort and safety of everyone, including your pets.  </LI>
<LI>The good news is that we are not without animal love for the weekend  There are two dogs, Eddie and Ronnie and a few cats, Socks, Guinness, One Spot and Fulcrum, who live out there full-time and are the most loving animals you could meet.  Feel free to give any of them a pet or a cuddle when you're out there. :) </LI>
