2018 Sakura Night

The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is a signature springtime and cherished intra-community arts and culture festival. We believe there is power in “connecting our communities”.Our mantra, “there is no stranger under the cherry tree,” welcomes inclusion, participation and celebration of all community groups.Through our 20 community building events, we want to make the arts accessible to and representative of all people across all backgrounds.Our month long Festival presents accessible and mostly free, innovative and engaging programming, contributing to a more vibrant arts and cultural scene. We curate free, family-friendly, cultural performances and interactive activities to promote intercultural understanding and awareness, helping to break down cultural and societal barriers. Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society

The Festival is pleased to bring back the fourth annual Sakura Night, celebrating Stanley Park's cherry blossoms in the beautiful, newly renovated Stanley Park Pavilion. 
A charitable tax receipt will be issued to you at the event. Proceeds go towards the non-profit and charitable Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF), an intra-community arts and cultural Festival vital for community engagement, multiculturalism, the arts, and the environment. 
Sakura Night celebrates Vancouver's top local restaurants through an exquisite evening of Asian-fusion flavours. This year we're also thrilled to announce the new addition of wine, beer and sake pairings, please see below:

Boulevard Vancouver Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi
Renowned mixologist Jay Jones, who oversees Vij’s and Vij’s Rangolis bar team, will add his talents to Sakura Night by creating a distinctly new cherry blossom cocktail experience – Hisako Cocktail, to greet gala-goers.
