Join us for a workshop on trauma-informed approaches to anti-Islamophobic work to cultivate a more inclusive and equitable classroom

<p>How do we engage in a trauma informed approach to anti-Islamophobia work? In light of the anniversary of the Quebec City Mosque Shooting on Jan 29, this session will explore how to engage in critical learning around events that impact the sense of safety and wellbeing for students, staff and families. </p><p>This workshop will provide an overview of lslamophobia and an exploration of some common myths about Islam and Muslims. Practical resources, case studies and recommendations will be shared to support efforts to promote equity and inclusion and to ensure schools and classrooms remain safe environments for all. </p>
