Join us for conversations with professors teaching in the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies on their research, methodologies and the impacts of their work at the university and abroad.

<p>Professor Pesarini’s current book project investigates negotiations of race, gender, and identity in the former empire of Africa Orientale Italiana. Her research and teaching focus on the impacts of racializing practices and forms of agency and resistance in colonial and (post)colonial Italy.</p><p>Join us for a conversation with Professor Pesarini about how she approaches research on Black Italian cultural production and history, and counter-stories in the Black Mediterranean.</p>
