VEFS&#x27; annual fashion show is back in person! This year, Victoria College&#x27;s Environmental Fashion Show presents: Dystopian Daydreams and Utopian Nightmares. Explore the juxtaposition of surreal realities as we take a deep dive into the divisive nature of human kind through environmentally friendly fashion. We are also featuring VicXposure&#x27;s work at this year&#x27;s show. VicXposure is a student-run club passionate about freedom of expression through photography.Details:<ul><li>DOORS OPEN: 5:30 PM (come early and get a good seat!)</li><li>Dress code: best outfit in your personal style (we want to see everyone&#x27;s unique style!)</li><li>We will not be selling tickets at the door, so buy quickly before tickets run out!</li><li>This is a masked and vaccinated event (we will be checking vaccinations and UCheck at the door)</li><li>A goodie bag including our lookbook showcasing VEFS&#x27; 2022 season will be included in each ticket purchase</li></ul>The Victoria College Environmental Fashion Show (VEFS) at the University of Toronto aims to promote sustainability and socially conscious self-expression by fostering a culture of sharing, resourcefulness and creative collaboration on campus. Each year, a diverse team of dedicated student designers, models, makeup artists and volunteers come together to produce an inclusive and accessible fashion show and formal event. This year marks the 11th year our organization has hosted the fashion show which features beautiful runway fashion constructed solely from recycled materials. Our passionate team of student designers obtains rejected articles of clothing, breathes new life into them and then makes them available to the public at an affordable post-fashion show pop-up shop.
