<h1>The Vernissage</h1><p>Come and experience an exclusive fine art vernissage with a masquerade theme! As a VIP ticket holder for this exclusive, Opening Night soiree, you can expect a truly remarkable selection of art by 50+ professional artists from Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and regions in between.</p><p>In addition to getting first viewing opportunity to this exceptional art exhibition, you will also receive a swag bag, welcome cocktail and canapés, as well as a live performance by one of Ottawa's highly celebrated musical creators, Rebecca Noelle.</p><p>The evening will also include a Silent Auction and Door Prizes, which is being hosted in partnership with  <a href="https://qchfoundation.ca/events/wall-candy-noir-art-expo/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation</a>, for which all proceeds will go directly to their "Building Space Between the Walls" Campaign to help build a comfortable, modern, fully-equipped space for 15 bed bays at QCH.</p><p>Join us in this special evening soiree, and be among the first few who get to view the art, and select your favourite pieces before the exhibit opens to general admission the next day.</p>

<h2>Canapés and Cocktail Hour</h2><h3>6pm - 7:30pm  |  October 21st </h3><p>Join us early to receive a welcome drink, and enjoy some tasty treats prepared by local chefs!</p>

<h2>Live Performance by Rebecca Noelle</h2><p><strong>With Live Painting by An Nguyen</strong></p><h3>8pm - 9pm  |  October 21st </h3><p>The Vernissage on Opening Night of NOIR will feature a live performance by <a href="https://www.wallcandyartexpo.com/rebecca-noelle" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rebecca Noelle</a>, an acclaimed musical creator who has graced the stages of Blues Fest and the NAC here in Ottawa, as part of a highly celebrated musical career. With a velvety voice that is simply unforgettable, Noelle brings to mind some of the artists of whom she has been influenced by over the years – Etta James, Jamiroquai and k.d. Lang. For one night only, you can enjoy her incredible performance at NOIR.</p><p>Artist, <a href="https://www.wallcandyartexpo.com/an-nguyen" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">An Nguyen</a> will be live painting the Rebecca Noelle performance in real time! An studied fine arts at the University of Waterloo and was tutored by Guatemalan artist Sergio A. Solorzano. As an Asian Canadian she uses her art to reflect on her immigrant identity and playfully rediscovers the world through her children’s eyes. Her paintings have been featured in local galleries, restaurants and public venues throughout Ottawa.</p>

<h2>Door Prizes &amp; Silent Auction Fundraiser</h2><p><strong>With Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation</strong></p><h3>6pm - 9pm  |  October 21st </h3>
<strong><em>Winners will be announced at 9:30pm</em></strong><p>There will be several incredible fine art pieces to choose from for the Silent Auction. Art pieces are donated by the artists participating in the NOIR Exhibition. </p><p>Additionally, there will be an exciting selection of Door Prizes for guests who choose to support Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation through a small donation (this is possible when you buy your tickets here, but you may also choose to donate the night of the event and give directly to QCH). All proceeds and donations will be given directly to QCH to support the "Building Space Between the Walls" Campaign to help build a comfortable, modern, fully-equipped space for 15 bed bays.</p>
