Mother's Day Tea

Nelles Manor is a historical gem in the heart of Grimsby, and a valuable piece of Canadian heritage.A family home for over two centuries, the Manorhas been often viewed from afar. In 2016, owners Barry and Linda Coutts generously donated their home to a charitable, non-profit corporation created by the family.The Manor, now run by volunteers, exists as a Museum and Heritage House, open for tourists to come and have a look inside!The Nelles name is familiar to those who live in Grimsby, as they were one of the founding families to settle in this part of Upper Canada during the late 18th century.Colonel Robert Nelles built this gorgeous Georgian-style home and resided here with his large family until his death in 1842. The house has passed through 4 successive generations of Nelles descendants, and remains standing today as a testament to Robert's wisdom and perseverance through an ambitious colonial beginning.The rest of the story is told by the house itself... you'll have to come visit in person and see what it has to offer.We offer educational tours, special events, and facility rentals for any occasion.

Enjoy Mother&#x27;s Day afternoon tea in a 1798 heritage house - Nelles Manor.There are tables for 2 – 6 guests.Each table is named for mothers and daughters of the Nelles family.The afternoon will include a fashion show by Jackie O&#x27;s Boutique.Please email info@nellesmanor.ca to inform us of food allergies or vegan/vegetarian preferences.
