<h3>The Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education is pleased to announce:</h3><h3><strong>Inclusion Through a Heart-Mind Lens: A Journey of Identity and Belonging with Shelley Moore</strong></h3>

<strong>Registrants will receive a Zoom link to attend the webinar live, as well as a private link to a recording of the webinar to watch within a week of the webinar if they cannot join in at the scheduled time.</strong><p>How do we build inclusive environments for all young people to feel a sense of belonging? </p><p>Expert educator and researcher, Shelley Moore, will share her own story of inclusion and how her understanding of belonging has deepened and evolved over time. Bringing an inclusive lens to fostering social emotional learning means being mindful of the different environments, contexts, and histories that children inhabit and bring to their places of learning, be they at home, in nature, or in schools. Through stories, humour, research, and practical ideas, we will learn from Shelley about neurodiversity, disability, and LGBTQ2+, and how to effectively build on every child’s strengths and uniquenesses.  </p><p><strong>This webinar is for educators, parents, caregivers and service providers interested in supporting children&#x27;s development. </strong></p>

<p><strong>Shelley Moore</strong> </p><p>Originally from Edmonton, and now based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Shelley Moore is a highly sought-after teacher, researcher, speaker and storyteller and has worked with school districts and community organizations around the world, in supporting and promoting equity for all learners. Her first book entitled, “One Without the Other” was released in July 2016 to follow up her TEDx talk. Shelley completed an undergraduate degree in Special Education at the University of Alberta, her masters at Simon Fraser University, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia.</p><p><strong>Fiona Douglas-Crampton</strong> (President &amp; CEO, Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education) will moderate this special-event webinar.</p><p>___________________________________________________________________________________________</p><h3></h3><h3><strong><em>Your webinars are great - accessible, thoughtful and affordable.
