Join Friends of Kootenay Lake for a shoreline cleanup at Chahko Mika Mall!

Chahko Mika Mall

Garbage from the mall parking lot builds up along the shoreline, easily making its way into Kootenay Lake. Get your hands dirty and join other passionate lake lovers to clean up this area. To bring:<ul><li>Shovel (optional)</li><li>Rake (optional)</li><li>Bucket (there will be extra buckets)</li><li>Gardening/work gloves (there will be extra used gloves provided)</li><li>Comfortable and weather appropriate clothing</li><li>Trash pickers if you have a sore back</li><li>Gumboots for muddy areas</li><li>Food and water</li></ul>More info will be sent to you once you register. Cleanup equipment and refreshments will be provided. If you experience any difficulties registering, please email Joelle at outreach@friendsofkootenaylake.ca.
