Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) is an independent non-profit public art gallery committed to the acquisition, presentation, interpretation and dissemination of contemporary art for the benefit of the local arts community. Its programs explore a variety of issues and include exhibitions, talks, lectures, tours and publications. OAG has a growing permanent collection of historical and contemporary works associated with the region. It also houses the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art, which consists of more than 1,600 works of art assembled by Ottawa collectors O.J. and Isobel Firestone, who acquired the works from the early 1950s to the 1970s.__________

Drop-in Painting Workshop with Kezna Dalz / Atelier de peinture avec Kezna Dalz

*Un message en français suivra.*Saturday, April 16 | 12 PM to 4 PM | OAG Studio, 10 Daly AvenueIn partnership with Capital Pride, the OAG Youth Council is excited to present a free drop-in painting workshop led by Montreal-based artist Kezna Dalz! Join us in person at the OAG on April 16 between 12 and 4 p.m. to create a painted work that depicts what you would like to see in your heart.Kezna’s work is characterized by raw features and bright colours, and within her multidisciplinary practice she addresses themes such as feminism, the fight against racism, popular culture as well as one’s relationship to sexuality.
