Sara Wiens is an artist currently based in Salmon Arm who works in oil, acrylic and mixed media.  She has shown her work and taught art for many years across BC. Sara currently enjoys teaching workshops on art techniques and creativity to small groups of youth and adults in the North Okanagan.

<p>We’re taking to the trails for this one and learning about painting the landscape on location. Plein Air painting became popular with the French Impressionists who wanted to capture light and movement in the natural world.  Together we’ll learn about translating what we see and sense onto our canvas.</p><p>All Art Supplies Provided.  Participants are asked to bring a snack and a backpack.  </p>
