721 對香港民主運動的影響The Impact of 721 on the democracy movement of Hong Kong毋忘721 DON’T FORGET 721On July 21, 2019, an armed mob of triad members attacked civilians indiscriminately with steel rods and rattan cane in Hong Kong’s Yuen Long district. The gangs then moved on to the nearby subway station and attacked the elderlies, children and protestors returning from a demonstration. Police stations in the vicinity shut their doors to the people crying for help. So far, only 60 people had been arrested and 7 had been charged, some have proven connections to crime syndicates. This incident constitutes a terrorist attack on innocent civilians.The Vancouver Society in Support of Democratic Movement (VSSDM) will hold a documentaries viewing of 7.21 with discussion on the subject of the Impact of 7.21 on the democracy movement of Hong Kong. 2019 年 7 月 21 日，一群三合會成員在香港元朗區用鋼棒和藤條無差別地襲擊平民。這群黑幫隨後轉移到附近的元朗西鐵站，襲擊了從一場集會返家中的老人、兒童及參與者。附近的警察局對求救的市民關上了大門。到目前為止，只有 60 人被捕，7人被起訴，其中一些人已證明與犯罪集團有聯繫。這一事件構成對無辜平民的恐怖襲擊。溫哥華支援民主運動聯合會（溫支聯）將會在七月二十一曰晚上播放兩套關於7.21的記錄影片及以互動形式進行去討論721 對香港民主運動的影響。DATE: July 21, 2022日期: 7 月21 曰TIME: 7 pm - 9 pm時間: 下午 7 時至 9 時Venue (地點): Holiday Inn Vancouver-Centre (Broadway)	711 W. 鍾劍華博士香港明愛專上學院湯羅鳳賢社會科學院客席副教授鍾劍華博士一直擔任香港理工大學應用社會科學系的助理教授，直到2020年退休。在2009至2020年期間，亦擔任APSS系社會政策研究中心總監。憑藉其社會政策和公共管理的專業知識，他擁有相關方面豐富的教學經驗。他在專業領域內甚為活躍，積極參與各種慈善組織和公共機構的董事局和委員會，還是多個創新社會服務項目的顧問成員。退休後，他加入了香港民意研究所（PORI），最初是副主任，現在是副首席執行官。現時他是明愛專上學院湯羅鳳賢社會科學院客席副教授。羅恩惠羅恩惠為資深新聞工作者，六七暴動紀錄片《消失的檔案》導演。曾任無線新聞部《星期日檔案》首席編輯，溫哥華新時代電視助理新聞總監。2012年創立人文影像工作室，從事歷史影像及文字記錄，文章散見於各媒體。
