Sauerkaruat, kim chi and other fermented vegetables are becoming household staples...again.  The simple processes and minimal resources make these condiments possible for every household to create. Curious minds and palates are welcome to experience the transformation of seasonal garden abundance ‎into a probiotic rich compliment to any meal! Learn, taste and create your own sauerkraut to kick-start your fermentation station.
About the presenters:

Erin Richan is a gardener and a forager. She uses fermentation as a creative tool to build self-sufficiency, health, and expand the seasonal palate.
Melissa Cornacchia is a homesteader, lover of teas, herbs, foraging‎ and fermentation. Her curiosity drives her to experiment with anything and everything at her disposal and in abundance. The options are endless! 
Following the workshop we will serve lunch will at 12.
