Eagle Feather Ceremony for Survivors of Indian Residential Schools.

The Indigenous Arts Collective of Canada is Indigenous women led, and registered under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (946986-9)  and also designated a National Arts Service Organization by the Department of Canadian Heritage.

On September 30th, National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we will honour Indian residential school survivors with an Eagle Feather.

If you like, you will have seating in front for our national opening ceremony: Remember Me: A National Day of Remembrance. <a href="http://remember-me-september-30.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Click here for the official website: Remember Me Website.</a>We hope that you will accept an Eagle Feather as a gesture of gratitude.We honour you because you have shown strength and given us all the courage and humility to heal.We are an Indigenous women led, not for profit organization. We are the facilitators of this national event on Parliament Hill, Ottawa. Dawn Iehstoseranon:nha (she keeps the feathers) is a Mohawk Feather Keeper and will be presenting individual Eagle feathers to residential school survivors.* Eagle feathers are in limited quantity and you must be registered to receive one.*You must be present on Parliament Hill at 8:30 am to receive your feather.
