In this session, you'll learn the fundamentals of 3D scanning technology by working with a personal, sentimental object of your choice. This workshop offers a unique blend of technology and craft, encouraging reflection on memory and preservation. Hosted in the Makerspace room of the Guelph Public Library, Westminster Square Branch.Presented in partnership with the City of Guelph and proudly supported by EQ Bank.Roda Medhat is a Kurdish born artist, currently based in Toronto, Canada. Roda's work is textile as sculpture, exploring the various ways traditional West Asian and Kurdish textiles can be translated onto other materials.
