Location: Sea Dog Cove Nature Preserve  Date: August 25, 2022   Time: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm  Cost: Free  Leader: Nature Trust Staff  Woodland angelica (Angelica sylvestris) is an invasive species that is an aggressive forest invader that threatens biodiversity.   Managing invasive species is an important part of stewardship and at this event, you’ll learn how to identify woodland angelica and how to best manage and remove them from the property.  Caution: Woodland angelica produces a chemical in the sap that can cause rashes and blisters when exposed to sunlight. When handling, gloves are required, and long sleeves are recommended.  This event can also count towards certification in Restoration Corps: Invasive Species Removal of the Ambassador Program. To learn more about the program, <a href="https://www.naturetrust.nb.ca/en/ambassador-program" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">click here.</a>This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.  What to Bring:  <ul><li>Work gloves  </li><li>Proper footwear and work attire (long sleeves recommended)  </li><li>Water and/or snacks  </li><li>Loppers or garden clippers  </li></ul>--Lieu: Réserve naturelle Sea Dog CoveDate: 25 août 2022Heure: 14h00 – 16h00  Coût: Gratuit  Animateurs: Personnel de la Fondation  L&#x27;angélique des bois (Angelica sylvestris) est une espèce envahissante qui envahit les forêts de manière agressive et menace la biodiversité.  La gestion des espèces envahissantes est une partie importante de l&#x27;intendance et lors de cet événement, vous apprendrez à identifier l&#x27;angélique des bois et la meilleure façon de la gérer et de l’éliminer de la propriété.  Attention : L&#x27;angélique des bois produit un produit chimique dans sa sève qui peut provoquer des éruptions cutanées et des ampoules lorsqu&#x27;elle est exposée au soleil. Lors de la manipulation, il est nécessaire de porter des gants et recommandé de porter des manches longues.  Cet événement peut aussi compter pour la certification Service de restauration : Élimination des espèces envahissantes du programme Ambassadeur.
