Live Music Info Session #1

Creative BC is an independent society created and supported by the Province of BC to sustain and help grow BC’s creative sector (film and television, digital and interactive media, music, and magazine and book publishing industries). The society delivers a wide range of programs and services to expand BC’s creative economy. These include the administration of the provincial government’s tax credit programs for film and television; development funding and export marketing support; and motion picture production services to attract inward investment and market BC as a destination for domestic and international production. The society acts as an industry catalyst and ambassador to help BC’s creative sector reach its economic and creative potential both at home and globally.

The Live Music program, offered by Creative BC, and supported via Amplify BC, opens September 14, 2022, and closes October 26, 2022.

The Live Music program supports B.C.-based live music presenters, funding live music performances for audiences and artists and enhancing music tourism throughout B.C. Funding will also support the capacity of the live music sector through business development activitiesJoin Creative BC staff and learn about this program. Get all the details about eligibility, examples of past successful projects, and the application process. We look forward to answering all of your questions!Applications to the Live Music program will be accepted until October 26, 2022, at 11:59 pm, PDT, or until funds are no longer available. Results will be communicated to all applicants in February 2023.
