On October 1, 2022, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be hosting Provincial Recruitment Day across the province.This year’s Provincial Recruitment Day’s theme is “A Day in the Life” and will showcase many of the career opportunities that empower our members to make a difference each day. With hundreds of members eligible for retirement over the next few years, there has never been a better time to apply to the OPP. Whether you are interested in becoming a police officer, auxiliary member (volunteer) or working in a civilian role, the OPP has a job opportunity for you. O.P.P. West Region headquarters, located at 6355 Westminster Drive, London, ON, will be holding a MEET and GREET event! You will have the opportunity to meet a members of WR Command Staff, the Tactical Rescue Unit, along with their newest K9 member, Anti-Rackets Unit, OPP Auxiliary Unit, OPP Civilian (Provincial Communications Centre), and of course, your West Region Recruiters.C﻿ome and meet us so we can meet you! Here is your opportunity to meet with local recruiters and various units, there is nothing like a face-to-face meet. *﻿*****Registration:Only those who have successfully registered via Eventbrite will be admitted into the building. If this session is listed as SOLD OUT, please do not contact the Event organizer. Registration will close on October 1st, 2022 at 7:00am.If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation on Eventbrite so someone else may take your place.Admission/IdentificationThis event is free of charge. While you do not require a printed copy of your ticket, Government-Issued Photo I.D. is required.Doors will open no sooner than 08:45 AM and close at 11:30 AM. This is a drop-in event, feel free to attend anytime during these hours (if registered). Food/DrinksFood and drinks will not be provided at Provincial Recruitment Day events. Please bring a re-fillable water bottle, and lunch/snacks as needed.ParkingComplimentary parking will be available on-site behind West Region Headquarters.
