With guided movement, meditation, & a sound healing experience, you'll be invited to TUNE OUT the outer world & TUNE IN to your inner world.

This 4/20, we'll tune out the noise of the outer world in order to tune in to the vastness of our inner worlds. Beginning our time together with a few opening words from Alexandria, you'll have the time to satiate with 420, if that serves you. We'll move into a short meditation practice with Cassidy, before indulging in mindful movement led by Irina. Listen to your body, exploring the movements which nurture you best. Relaxing afterwards in savasana, Alexandria will lead us through a beautiful crystal bowl sound healing before we close out the practice with a short intention-setting meditation guided by Cassidy. Tap into this powerful week - 4/20, Earth Day, and the New Moon! Your loving teachers suggest you come prepared with comfy clothes, blankets, candles, and anything else which will allow you to be completely nurtured by this time together. Our hope is to leave you feeling relaxed, at ease, and more connected to yourself than ever before. She is certified in both the Foundations of Mindfulness and Mindful Meditation, as well as the Applied Specialization in Mindfulness Meditation, both through the University of Toronto. She'll often remind you to "allow yourself to be here, now." Irina is a Toronto-based personal trainer and yoga teacher who believes there truly are no limits to what our bodies can do when they are strong, balanced, and healthy. Mobility and flexibility both play major roles in injury prevention and, unfortunately, are often overlooked. Through yoga and specifically designed strength and mobility classes, Irina focuses on the importance of body awareness and movement to help correct muscle imbalances, strengthen the body and mind, and help with recovery. Alexandria is an experienced sound healer, yoga teacher, reiki master and performing artist. Get ready to allow your self to receive the beautiful healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls. Together with Alexandria's voice, you will be brought into a state of pure bliss and relaxation.Full teacher bios:Cassidy is the founder of Just Be Meditation in Toronto. She has deepened her practice during travels to India, Bali, Thailand, Big Sur, and other destinations with deep roots in meditation. You may have joined Cassidy for a meditation during the lululemon 10K (June 2018 and June 2019), at the Sweat Equity Stage during the Green Living Show (April 2018), or at the AltaVie launch party, where she had the pleasure of meditating with a panel which included author Cleo Wade. In 2019 she had the pleasure of guiding a practice on Gratitude at A Mindful Society. Cassidy has also been found at the Muskoka Yoga Festival, offering both meditation and reiki, and teaching in San Francisco with Within Meditation for Earth Day 2019. She also had the pleasure of presenting and teaching at Fireside Conference in 2019, and acting as Master of Ceremonies at the 2019 Mindfulness Challenge (The Centre for Mindfulness Studies' annual event). Today, you can find Cassidy guiding meditation around downtown Toronto, including at Hoame at 430 Adelaide St W. A trusted health and fitness expert in Toronto and online, Irina's background in holistic nutrition, yoga and weight training allows for a more holistic approach towards her clients' goals. She believes that the physical body is the temple in which the soul resides and therefore has to be honoured and respected. Through movement we become more aware of the natural rhythms and messages our bodies are communicating to us. Through this deep state of awareness and connection we will raise our vibration thus allowing us to make space inside ourselves and honour the most sacred aspects of our being. When we come back to our bodies, we come back to the clearest guidance system we have. This session of movement exploration will be a fun way to play and connect to every part of our bodies. Movement is freedom and Irina's mission is to ensure her clients are moving pain free and feel empowered mentally and physically. She has been passionate about cultivating awareness and connecting people to their bodies since her yoga and wellness journey began 12 years ago. She has taught large classes at places like Camp Reset, Camp Yoga, The Yoga Conference etc., and worked with brands like LOLE, Lulu Lemon and Asics.
