The STAND FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION RALLY is a joint venture between the Alberta Teachers' Association & the Alberta School Councils' Association

J﻿OIN US on Saturday, October 22, 2022 for a RALLY in support of public education in Alberta. This event is a family-friendly gathering, complete with food trucks and fun pre-rally activities.A﻿LL TEACHERS, their families, and members of the public are encouraged to gather at the Alberta Legislature to show their support for public education and the value public education provides to Alberta's children.M﻿ore information and details are available at the Stand For Education website (www.standforeducation.ca).

Calgary Catholic Teachers&#x27; ATA Local 55 is offering assistance to its members in travelling to Edmonton. You will have the option of one of the following:R﻿IDE WITH US - meet us in North Calgary and ride in style to Edmonton on a luxury coach bus. Your Local Member Engagement Committee is designing fun activities for the ride, and every bus is enabled with free Wifi!-﻿-&gt; Pickup for coach busses is at the Local 55 offices (6815 - 8 Street NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7H7) on Saturday, October 22nd. Busses leave at 8:45am. Free parking is provided on-site for your vehicle while you attend the rally.-﻿-&gt; Bus tickets are $10 each. All riders will receive a free #RedForEd winter beanie (valued at $18 each).G﻿AS ASSISTANCE - take your own ride up to Edmonton, meet us at the Legislature grounds and receive a gift card for fuel!-﻿-&gt; The Local is distributing a limited number of $20 gift cards for fuel in support of Local 55 members attending the rally. Register here for a gas card and on the day of the rally you will receive instructions on how you can pick up your gas card while you are at the rally in Edmonton on October 22.-﻿-&gt; Gas cards are limited to one card per Local 55 member. Only members of Calgary Catholic Teachers&#x27; ATA Local 55 are eligible for gas assistance.-﻿-&gt; Park-and-Ride locations will be set up around Edmonton. Downtown parking around the Legislature building is extremely limited on October 22 - please watch your email for additional notifications and instructions about park-and-ride options.
