Nitrogen Management Workshop: Apples

The BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund (CAF) provides funding to help farmers tackle climate change by adopting beneficial managing practices (BMPs) in three specific areas: Nitrogen Management, Cover Cropping and Rotational Grazing. CAF is funded by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the On-Farm Climate Action Fund and delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC.

The BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food invite you to join experts from Washington State University and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada for a training course in nitrogen management and apples. Horticultural advisors and growers are invited to attend and learn the latest approaches to nitrogen management in apple orchards with content tailored to orchards in the Okanagan Valley. O﻿ur guest speakers are WSU Tree Fruit Extension Specialists: Bernardita Sallato C., Tianna DuPont, Dr. Matthew Whiting and Dr. Kirsten Hannam from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
