Waterdown's Memorial Hall is 100! With great reverence and gratitude, the Waterdown community is taking the opportunity to remember and celebrate.  A committee of community partners have planned for a weekend of events from November 11th to the 13th.

Autumn has arrived in Flamborough, and with the changing temperatures and vibrant colour highlighting the foliage, this fall commemorates the 100th anniversary of the completion of Waterdown’s Memorial Hall. A committee of community partners have planned for a weekend of events from November 11th to the 13th for everyone to celebrate together.Located in the centre of Waterdown, our Memorial Hall has been a part of village life for 100 years. Its construction was completed in the late fall of 1922, and the hall officially opened January 24, 1923. This was especially miraculous as the partly built structure was not damaged in the Great Waterdown Fire of 1922. The building was an example of what a small community could achieve when united in a common goal.This trivia night is part of the celebration of a local landmark over Remembrance Day weekend. Tickets are for a table of up to 8 participants. Join us and the rest of the community, and compete for prizes!<h3>All monies collected from the sale of tickets for trivia tables go toward the event's operating costs. Any profit made from the event will be donated to the Legion Poppy Fund.</h3>
