YURI'S NIGHT

The Canada Aviation and Space Museum is Canada’s national museum of aviation and space and houses the most extensive collection of aircraft and space exploration artifacts in the country. Located at an active airport, the Museum offers vintage aircraft and helicopter rides during the summer and simulator rides all year long. Cited as one of the top ten aviation and space museums in the world according to a recent CNN survey, the Museum hosts thousands of visitors each year. Be a part of an international event celebrating humanity's collective accomplishments in space exploration! 
Yuri’s Night commemorates the day Yuri Gagarin became the first human to go to space – back in April 1961. The Canada Aviation and Space Museum is marking the milestone with a stellar event with free appetizers, a cash bar and live music by <A HREF="https://www.2xexperience.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Double Experience</A> - our nerd rockers from Ottawa!
Watch a Science Slam – where professional scientists will be given five minutes and a microphone, with a goal to both educate and entertain. Think poetry slam, but for scientists! Each slammer will be judged and a winner will be crowned – organized by Science Slam Ottawa. Think you have what it takes to compete?
