Knowledge-to-Action November: K2A 2022

Join Island Health Research for our 10th annual Knowledge-to-Action Month to learn about the importance of translating evidence into practice to improve care and outcomes.

Celebrate your colleagues from across the Island and get some tips and tricks to make changes in your own area. Presenters include:<ul><li>Lina Alsakran (Evaluation Consultant) on Implementing Outreach Services for Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Cowichan</li><li>Alison Ritchie (Occupational Therapist, Comox Geriatric Specialty Services) on The Effectiveness of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy in the Comox Valley</li><li>Tamara Young (Clinical Nurse Educator, Simulation) on ​Code Blue Extravaganza (Simulation Education)</li></ul>Who will win bronze, silver, and gold? Join us to find out, and stay until the end to vote for the best presentation, which will win the People&#x27;s Choice Award!T﻿his event is part of Island Health&#x27;s annual <a href="https://www.islandhealth.ca/research-capacity-building/knowledge-action-month" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Knowledge-to-Action</a> (K2A) month.
