Have you always wanted to visit a market on your trip to Northern Italy and order in Italian?
Join us in La Scuola di Eataly Toronto for this in-person experience partnered with the Italian Cultural Institute to explore the tradition of Northern Italy and your new go-to comfort dish, while learning basic Italian and linguistic information from Piemonte, Lombardia, and Emilia Romagna.
In this back to basics class, we will take you through step-by-step, how to prepare these two classic Northern dishes while learning introductory Italian phrases to help when visiting and shopping at an open-aired market.
In this class, students will: 
- Enjoy two courses prepared by our chef and paired with wines chosen by an Eataly beverage expert 
- Learn key Italian vocabulary related to the recipes
- Learn useful phrases for shopping, how to ask about produce, understanding the metric system when asking for specific quantities, and understand what you may be told by a seller at an open-air market commonly visited in Northern Italy
Menu:
- Vitello Tonnato (Baked Veal with Tuna, Caper, and Anchovy Sauce)
- Cappelletti ripieni di zucca con burro salvia e Parmigiano Reggiano DOP (Hand-made &quot;Cappelletti&quot; pasta filled with butternut squash served with butter, sage and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP)

Nota Bene:
- Please note, if purchasing a single ticket, you will be seated at a table of two with another individual. 
- Please note, we cannot accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions for this class.
- All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 19 or older.
- Tickets are individually sold and one ticket will give you access to one seat
- Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes.
