Join us with a soothing beverage as we explore ways to tend the Earth and Spirit in these potent times. Each month we host a guest speaker exploring knowledge that honours our dance of relationship with Earth and Spirit. Bring your questions and queries!

At Earth &amp; Spirit Café we offer monthly drop-in gatherings (every fourth Thursday of the month). Each month we host a guest speaker exploring knowledge that honours our dance of relationship with Earth and Spirit. A diversity of topics includes: reciprocal land use, respect for Indigenous ways of knowing, tending death with consciousness, and inspirational change-makers.We invite you to bring your questions and queries! Hosted by experienced facilitators, holding heart-based space — Renate Ringer &amp; Alice L. Meyers.In this January 2023 session, <a href="https://www.animas.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Animas Valley Institute</a>-trained Facilitators Becky Traptow and Sarah Frizelle will share about their experiential nature-based wanders. They invite you into an inner treasure hunt, discovering your wild self through nature connection. For the first half of our session, we learn from Becky &amp; Sarah as they draw on Bill Plotkin’s Map of the Psyche (Soul) to talk about the therapeutic wanders they facilitate in the forest. The second half turns into a ‘cafe-style’ round-table discussion where silence, conversation, and inquiry are equally welcomed!FACILITATORS Both Becky Traptow and Sarah Frizelle have been working with Animas Valley Institute for over 10 years and guide group programs as well as individuals in their journey of self-discovery, healing, wholeness and deepening connection with the world around them.<a href="https://www.beckytraptow.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Becky Traptow</a> is a Therapeutic Bodyworker and Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) who combines bodywork and nature-based parts therapy to help people discover their wholeness and heal their wounded selves. You can find her working one on one with clients both in person and online as well as outside in the wild world. She is passionate about this work and about people living their biggest possible lives. She hopes you will join them for this transformational program.<a href="http://fourdirectionscounselling.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sarah Frizelle</a> is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who offers holistic counselling to individuals, couples and families. She supports change and growth through processes that attend to mind, body, emotions and spirit.
